Piney is a wooden push toy. The goal is a boost the little one’s encourage to crawl and walk along.
Due to age range, the toy must be visually interesting. So the character creation is the key element of the process. Simplecity, cuteness and appealing are the main concepts that i'd like to achieve.
As a result of the analysis for chicken gestures, I’ve simlified the heads movement. With lots of trials I’ve optimised the weight for the oscillation frequency.
The geometries of the the toy silhouette is two spheres. one for the body and one for the head

Mechanism is simple; a roller and center of gravity. Just like tumbler toys but with wheels.
